SOAK INGREDIENTS
All our formulations are the same except for Scentless, which doesnât include fragrance.
aqua, coco-glucoside, sodium cocamphoacetate, lauryl glucoside, glycerin, sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate, glyceryl oleate, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, parfum, propanediol, ethylhexyl glyercin, potassium sorbate, tetrasodium EDTA, benzophenone-4, citric acid
WHAT DOES NO-RINSE MEAN, EXACTLY?
It means exactly that â you just Soak your stuff and go. You donât have to rinse your clothes out â really. Because Soak is a low-suds liquid, the dirt and detergent come out in the water, and whatever is left in the item evaporates. When you squeeze out the water, all thatâs left behind is a hint of fragrance that dissipates over time.
You can certainly rinse if you want, but rinsing wonât affect how Soak cleans. It will just remove the fragrance. Because no-rinse requires less agitation, itâs easier on fabrics. Plus, the process uses less water, which is good for the planet.
HOW DO I TEST FOR COLOR FASTNESS?
Rub a bit of Soak on an inconspicuous part of the garment and rinse after two minutes. If thereâs no bleeding, youâre good to go.
IS SOAK ORGANIC?
No. However, it is environmentally-friendly, biodegradable and the bottles are recyclable and printed with water-based inks. Organic and all-natural products tend to need to be refrigerated and have short shelf lives; Soak is a stable product that will not fog or separate over time.
CAN I USE SOAK IN THE MACHINE?
Yes. Soak is ideal for either hand or machine washing, and can also be used in High Efficiency (HE) machines. Use the delicate cycle and measure Soak based on your machineâs instructions. Feel free to either use or skip the rinse cycle, depending on what you are washing.
I FORGOTÂ ABOUTÂ MYÂ ITEMÂ ANDÂ LEFTÂ ITÂ INÂ SOAKÂ OVERNIGHT. ISÂ ITÂ OKAY?
Of course. Thereâs nothing in Soak that will harm your clothes. Fifteen minutes is all you really need, though â leaving things in longer wonât make them any cleaner.
CAN SOAK HELP PROTECT MY WOOL AGAINST MOTHS?
No laundry wash will keep moths away from your knits (not Soak, and not our competitors). However, because moths are attracted to the oils from your skin that are trapped in the fibers, your best bet is to wash things regularly and store them clean, especially before you put them away for the season. We donât recommend using moth balls. Not only do they smell awful, they contain harsh, toxic chemicals that arenât good for anyone.
ARE THE FRAGRANCES STRONG?
None of our scents will leave a strong or heavy fragrance lingering in your garments. Theyâre formulated to leave just a hint of freshness on the item after it has been washed.
IâM SENSITIVEÂ TOÂ FRAGRANCEÂ â DOÂ YOUÂ HAVEÂ ONEÂ THATâSÂ UNSCENTED?
Scentless is âfor your sensitive sideâ and contains zero fragrance. Other than that, itâs exactly the same as our scented Soaks â a mild, plant-based formula thatâs gentle on the laundry you love most.
IS SOAK TESTED ON ANIMALS?
None of the Soak products are tested on animals.
